Life as usual for the second kid- here's my 7 month shot almost 2 weeks late.
Mama weighed me and believe it or not, I only weigh 18 pounds. I know this is more than Henry weighed at 12 months, but it's still less than most kids my age. (Owen, what are you at now?)
Here's what I'm up to this month. I can get almost anywhere I want- usually by rolling or reaching and lunging. I like everything that Henry likes- which is really starting to bother him. Mama has been giving him lessons on how to distinguish which toys I'm allowed to have and how to gently extract them from me. My mama is still my best friend, but I'm learning how to be away from her. I don't like being alone, but Henry will do in a pinch. And the best news is that I am sleeping through the night from 8pm to around 6am, at which point mama pulls me in bed with her and cuddles me back to sleep until Henry comes in and wakes us up. My favorite toys (besides Henry's) are stuffed animals and the plastic caterpillar that plays different songs when you push each foot. As far as food goes, obviously I like everything. I've tried carrots, all kinds of squash, pears, applesauce, yogurt, and broccoli. No complaints yet. I'm also starting to get into food I can eat myself. Mama has gotten me a container of those air puffed sweet potato stars. I can get them in my hands, I just need to work on unclenching my sweaty little palms so I can get the food in my mouth.
