Happy Birthdays!

It's a busy time of year, and we have three birthdays to celebrate. Uncle Kevin's was last Friday, the 13th. Evie's was today. And Uncle Jim's is this Saturday.

Happy birthday everybody!

UPDATE: Okay, Uncle Kevin's birthday is on the 20th. We were watching Biggest Loser when we wrote this post, okay?

Where did that baby come from?- June.

Things have gotten a little out of hand here. There are at least 3 stinky diapers in the trash can stinking up the whole bathroom so bad that no one even wants to go in there, let alone take out the trash. Every single toy we own has been taken out of its proper drawer or bin and scattered all over the house. And apparently, another baby somehow snuck in without anyone noticing!
Just kidding. This is our new friend Audrey. Mama is watching her a few mornings a week while her mama goes back to help out at her old job. Not only do we get to squeeze a cute baby, but now mama has someone to watch us when she needs some time off.

Audrey is almost 7 months old, but still outweighs me. It gets Henry confused because he think Audrey always wants to hold me. Mama doesn't understand how I'm still such a runt because I can really pack it away, although it has slowed down and mama doesn't think I've gained any weight since I started crawling.

Henry is a great help with Audrey and constantly brings her toys to play with and even tried to feed her lunch today.
And in return, Audrey thought everything Henry did was funny.

We think she's funny because she lays on the floor with one leg up while she reads books.
She is one easy baby to take care of. She's been taking a two hour nap when she gets here and then eats lunch and plays quietly for the rest of the morning.

And mama really likes her because she can't move fast enough to get away from the camera.
...Unlike someone we know.
To make up for not posing for mama, I decided to turn on the cute and try on her headband.

Mama said she used to wear her headband like this and pretend she was the blind guy from Star Trek who also hosted Reading Rainbow.
Here's the girliness in action.

Henry likes having Audrey around, but I'm still getting used to it. There are times when I do not like my mama holding another baby. But mostly I only get upset when Audrey is sitting in my high chair eating applesauce.

Henry goes to the dentist- June.

On Monday, Henry had his first visit to the dentist. It was quite a treat, as we visited a pediatric dentist who played Toy Story in the waiting room (that also featured a huge wooden playhouse). The exam was very pleasant and the dentist put Henry right at ease. She showed Henry all of her tools and how she would use them. Then Henry got to pick out the sunglasses he wanted to wear and jumped up on the big pink exam table. The dentist said Henry's teeth look good. He has all twenty and only a few chips (which she said is normal because little kids, especially boys like Henry, are prone to falling flat on their faces).
Henry got a big goody bag full of toothbrushes and floss (floss a three-year-old's teeth? Seriously?) and then the dentist even gave me a goody bag too! I love my new tooth brush.

We asked the dentist about my teeth too. She said that while growing molars first certainly isn't the norm, there isn't any harm in it either.

Before we left, Henry picked out a puppy sticker and a new toothbrush. He can't wait to go back!
