The second saddest day of our life- Henry.

Mama told us some devastating new yesterday- Brett Favre is retiring. It hurt, but not as bad as when he retired last year.So to honor him, we all broke out our Packer gear today (we'll never count him as a Jet). June was so upset about it all, she couldn't even smile for the picture.

I was so upset that I almost had to come home from school today with a sore throat. Luckily, by the time mama got there, they determined I didn't have a fever. Turns out a glass of water and a tic tac was all I needed and I headed back to class for the Valentine's day party!

Here's my Valentine that I made for all my classmates. It's a car, if you couldn't figure it out. I love gluing and mama nad I made these all by ourselves.

I got a ton of great treats, including this cool new heart cup, which I insisted on drinking from today. And mama even let me pick out two pieces of candy to eat after a good lunch. (We had grilled cheese and I insisted on having 10 pickles on mine.)

For my first treat, I picked out this cherry heart sucker. Mama saw my loot and imposed a candy tax. She said little boys shouldn't be allowed to eat Dove hearts and confiscated mine. I tried arguing "No taxation without representation," but she said that our house is not a democracy.

I tried to organize an revolt, but June was too busy eating applesauce.

She says she doesn't mind that way the house is run. She never gets to eat candy anyway, but she does get a graham cracker if she eats a good supper. Which is most of the time, because the only two foods she doesn't like are hot dogs and avocado.
