Ist year pictures- Mama.

Since we've got this recession on, we decided to try and take June's first year photos ourselves.

Today it's 50 degrees, so we stripped Juner down to her summer clothes and strung up a sheet from our new clothesline (Thanks PawPaw!) and headed outside to try to get a few good pictures.

Here are the top 8. Leave a comment and vote for your favorite! (Of course, they'll be cropped when we get them printed, so ignore any exposed edges.)

Out-takes from the photo shoot.

Of course, for every good picture there are about 10 bad pictures.

Mama loves this one.

June did not like sitting in the rocking chair. It reminded her too much of a swing- her biggest fear.

A day in the life- Juner.

Here's a few videos to let you know what daily life is like here. Mostly, it involves emptying toys on to the floor and yelling.

If you want to make me the happiest girl in the world, all you need is a drawer full of little things.

And things to shake.

Two big things happened yesterday. First, I now have a new front tooth! After several very fussy days, it broke through. So now I'm not just the weird kid with the molars.

Also, Henry peed on the potty! We're trying the baby vs. big boy method now. As in, babies pee in their diapers and big boys get to take flash lights and books to bed. It worked last night. And we all went crazy with tattoos and fruit snacks. But the first thing Henry said this morning when we got up was " I don't want to pee in the potty today."
