We've had a great time playing with the new water works PVC pipe toy. Or the "water table" as it has come to be known.
We even went back to the hardware to store to buy more connectors so we could make it bigger and better.
We're learning a lot about water pressure and now I know that you can't crank up the water without busting a joint.
You can guess how much mama loves playing with this, regardless of the wasted water, big mud puddles, and dirty legs.

I don't have to take a bath tonight, right?
June, what are you doing in France carrying around a a baguette? Oh wait, you're just in Pendleton at our favorite bakery. (By the way, Aunt Jenni, now they're making chocolate twist pretzels!)
Don't wait till you get home!
When I get home from school at 2, June is already down for her nap and hopefully Georgie is too. I need to have a little time to wind down before I go down for my nap (though I don't sleep). So mama made a deal with me. Every day when I get home, we have to do at least two workbook pages together. Mama is glad that I'm quiet, and I'm glad because mama makes us lemonade to share while we work. Today, I read all of the words on this page and colored each block the right color to reveal the picture. When I was done, mama took my picture with this tired fussy baby.
