Down to Mern- June.

On Tuesday, we met up with PawPaw to hitch a ride to Marion and to Bammaw's and PawPaw's house.

Here's a funny story about our trip. Mama planned on hitching rides around Ohio, so she didn't want to pack too much stuff. So now that I'm in my big girl bed (though totally still caged in by the bed rails and ladder), I got to take my sleeping bag. At Grandma and Grandpa Seibert's, Henry and I slept next to each other. Once I got in trouble for laying on top of Henry and reading his book over his shoulder while he laid on his belly. He didn't like that I narrated his book: "I like dogs. I like kitties."

At Bammaw's house, PawPaw thought maybe sleeping in a tent would help because it would give me boundaries. So he set up Aunt Girl's princess tent. It didn't really help. Many times, mama had to go into the room to fish me out from under the bed.

Mama thought it was very funny when she came in one night and found me asleep in the tent, but with my sparkly red shoes on.
Aunt Kate brought up Sadie and Dash and Grams got to cuddle on both of her little grandbabies.
And Sadie and I also gave them some love too.
Our GG and GG also came down from Cleveland for the day to meet Georgie.
GG Grandpa gets to know his newest great grand daughter.

Like mama, GG is a baby person. So he spent most of his time cuddling on sweet baby George.
I was glad to be among Grams' toys. Especially this Barney toy that plays music and has a paper scrolls that rolls across the screen. There's also a Dora cartridge. Sadie also loves this toy so much that she's dubbed Bammaw the "Barnie Grandma." That's right. 3 kids- 3 distinct nicknames. You can imagine the strife when I played with Sadie's favorite toy.
I let mama introduce this smocked dress into my wardrobe for the trip. It gave her the chance to wash the chicken dress while Bammaw and I read books together.
GG and GG pose with the two youngest of their 5 great-grandkids. We can't wait to see how much they've grown when they all come down for Thanksgiving!

Back at Great Grandma's-June.

Ugh. We are so far behind. Mama has firmly resolved to stop doing so much fun stuff and to stop taking so many pictures. So the world will never see that yesterday we went to a fall festival at the Montessori school and I got to ride a full size horse. I loved it! Picture it in your mind.
Back to last week. Papa still had to work, so he and Henry drove back home and left the girls in Ohio. We went back over to Great Grandma Wagner's house for the morning. She sang songs with me.
We got a nice picture of 5 generations of Wagner women.
I showed off my baby holding skills.
When she wasn't cuddling babies, Great Grandma took mama up to the attic of her house. They found a of drawings from a commercial design class Great Grandma took in the fifties before she had kids and when her kids were little. Mama got to pick out some drawings. Wagner cousins, be sure to ask Grandma about them at Christmas. We pulled out a bunch of great old fifties designs that she drew for everyone to have.
Aunt Mary Ellen and two of the Taller girls came over for a visit too.
We were so excited that Aunt Jenni drove up from Indy to see us right after she got back from her two week trip to Oktoberfest and Paris.
Two Georgianas.
Grandma told us stories about being the oldest on a farm when she was little and about how she was in charge of picking big green tomato bugs off the 3 acres of tomatoes they planted when they moved to Assumption from South Dakota.
Aunt Jenni was too happy to trade germs with Juner. We hope you didn't get a cold, AJ!
Aunt Mary (soon to be Grandma Mary) was happy to see her newest great niece, even if she barfed all over her brand new shirt.
Back at Grandma and Grandpa's Annalise and I got to jump on the air mattress.
We love playing together. I do whatever Annalise says and stay out of her way when she's playing by herself. We had a great quiet morning.
