The kids have taken over- Henry.

Today, Gracie and Audrey spent the afternoon at our house while their mama painted their porch.
I woke up from my nap in a pretty bad mood. But mama stripped us down to our shorts and sent us outside with popsicles to cheer us up. (Popsicles aren't nearly as messy with 3 year olds.) Later, we came inside and did crafts for a good 45 minutes. Gracie got a hold of the stamps and managed to stamp up her arms, face and shirt before mama caught her. The babies played on the floor. But now both of them are walking, so we'll have to keep a closer eye on them.

They can certainly make a mess.

Somehow Audrey worked her way out of her pants and mama didn't make any attempt to cover up those chunky thighs. Mama spent the rest of the afternoon lamenting her scrawny kids and their chicken legs.

Juner has had a low grade fever since last night and she was feeling pretty low today. Mama spent a fair amount of time trying to keep Audrey away from Juner's nuk and trying to keep the babies away from each other's sippy cups.

Poor little Gugger. Not only was she feeling poorly, she was stuck wearing sweats and my pajamas after she snotted all over her shirt and mama didn't want to walk upstairs. Luckily blankie was there to make her feel better.

Gracie read me my George book. It went like this "George is a monkey. He was curious. George didn't know he was curious. There was a clown. George didn't know there was a clown."
Gracie and I spent the rest of the afternoon pretending. Major themes included "Mission" which involved a lot of buses, cars and science museums. We also played "Baby" where I got to lay on the couch and Gracie tended to my needs.
