After we got back from Great Grandma's, we just wanted to relax.
Miss Elizabeth came down from Ann Arbor to meet Georgie and spent the day having fun with all of us. All Georgie wanted was to be held, and Miss Queen was more than happy to oblige. Our friend, Miss Megan came by too, but our pictures of her and Lilly are on Grandma's camera. Grandma, could you email those to us?
I only wanted to do one thing- swing! Only Grandpa could get me going as high as I wanted. (During the party, our cousin Ben's wife, Heather, was pushing me and I yelled "Higher! Higher!" and as a responsible adult, she didn't push me very high. You should have heard me scream at her.)
Mama got me out of my chicken dress by offering me this smocked dress. Along with my sparkely red shoes, I was quite happy.
Grandpa hitched up the old wagon to the old tricycle. Henry wanted to do chores all day. So he unloaded the van and hauled some boxes to Miss Megan's car. Then he loaded all of our bags into the van. We had pizza for supper and he hauled the extra boxes to the house. Same with the plates and empty pop cans. Then he moved all of the potted plants, pumpkins, and big landscape rocks to the front steps. Then he moved logs out of the barn for a campfire. He was mad when we ran out of things to move, so he moved the baby around instead.
I think she liked it, except for the starting and stopping. He was very careful to ride slowly.
