We had a hard time transistioning back to home time after a week of living on island time.We had a brief respite when our favorite 6 foot plus Wisconsin boys showed up for a day. Mister Scott and Mister Doug Heuchling had a good time playing with us then took mama out to see Star Trek.
Mama had to kill this huge spider. This one was so big, she took a picture for proof before she vacuumed it up.
It's now officially too hot. Gracie and Aundrey came over so we could all go to the pool. Swimming was fun, but I whined and cried the whole way home, then Gracie and I broke the top rail of our wagon. Mama was about ready to throw us over the hill, but papa came home just in time and took us to the park. Mama was in a better mood when we got back and let us have popsicles.
This turned into a serious clash of titans. Juner didn't want Audrey to touch her toys, but Audrey stood her ground. It resulted in many falls.
In an attempt to break up the week, mama took us to the science museum. Since we've been there 99,000 times, mama was pretty bored of it, but we had fun. Too bad for her, summer is coming and we're going to need a lot of indoor activities to pass the time.
We went home to Ohio this weekend. Mama and Papa got tired of my nonstop talking and dropped me off at Nama and PawPaw's in Marion. Then they continued on with Juner to Grandma and Grandpa Seibert's house. While they were there, they went to a baby shower for Miss Megan.Mama made this quilt for the new baby.
Mama also made papa go with her to her 10 year high school reunion. She had a really good time seeing all her old friends and she and papa were even the last to leave. Papa says it he's not going to another reunion for at least another 10 years. She doesn't have any pictures, but if any loyal readers from the class of 99 has any, please send them over. Maybe there are a few pictures that don't feature mama standing in front of the keg.
