Mama dressed me up in my super cute train engineer overalls and couldn't resist taking some pictures.
This little blue t-shirt was mama's favorite from when Henry was a baby. She actually has it in two sizes- she made Aunt Elizabeth look for it at the outlet stores until she found another one.
We built a marble run and played together without fighting. Mama wasn't happy to find an orange marble clutched in my tiny little fist today AFTER I woke up from my nap. You really have to be careful to check my hands before you put me in bed.
Henry impressed everyone by sending 10 marbles down at once. After he asked mama to watch, he added, "Watch me with your eyes- not your camera." Seriously mama. Stop taking so many pictures.
We might look cute, but I'm secretly planning trouble for after supper. Mama and Junie were upstairs, and papa was in his office building bookshelves while I played Hungry Hungry Herbivore on the Dinosaur Train website. When no one was looking, I snuck into the kitchen and stuffed my mouth full of as many candy corn as I could fir in there. Unfortunately, papa can hear a bag of candy corn open anywhere in the house. He walked in and I got a time-out for stealing.
Good news for all your video lovers. Thanks to a good deal at Staples, we now have a little camera that takes videos. Papa's glad we can (try to) get some videos of me saying words (or at least catch some of my super cute babbling) and mama's glad we finally have a Canon again (sorry Nikon, but you make an awful $100 camera). Here's what happened in our inaugural video with the new camera:
1. Henry was being a goofball- "Speddy, spit spet, spo!" translates into "Ready, get set, go!" as he raced the big dump truck under papa's legs.
2. I cried because I could reach my tiny yellow car, today's clutched object that I wouldn't put down, even for supper.
3. Henry races back in the room and lands himself in timeout.
