Parsons Thanksgiving Invasion-June.

Mama has had us cleaning all week in preparation for our big Thanksgiving week.

We had a few minutes to enjoy our spotless house before the chaos started.
I love the Christmas decorations- especially this little snowman that used to belong to my GG back when Grams and Aunt Molly were little. It normally lights up, but mama took the cord out so I could play with it, give it hugs, and practice my new favorite word- "Cheese."

Aunt Molly and Uncle Michael came on Tuesday night. Henry charmed them with a very loud tour of our house and we all went out to eat. Surprisingly enough, we were both pretty good through all of supper. Henry especially is fun to eat out with, as long as there are markers and a coloring book.

Uncle Adam, Aunt Katie, and Sadie rolled in at about 3 am on Wednesday morning. And Aunt Girl and Grams got here around 2 pm.

The weather was so nice, we all played outside most of the day.

Sadie liked our slide.

For the first time ever, Henry refused to be pushed and finally figured out how to pump his legs on a swing.

He was nice enough to give me a push.

Our slide is pretty steep, so Grams was there to slow us down if we needed it.

Henry sat at the top hogging the slide.

I tried to slide rocks down the slide. I managed to sneak a rock and an acorn inside and am still playing with them.

Here's me in my awesome outfit. I wear my rain boots most days because I can put them on myself and am usually waiting by the door to get outside.

Henry and Aunt Girl tried to talk Sadie into a swing ride.

...while I ran around the yard, hoping for someone to chase me.

Sadie let Henry push her while the adults stood around and talked.

Aunt Girl fell victim to my charm and agreed to run around the yard tickling me.

We had so much fun outside that we decided to move supper out. How lucky are we to be eating outside in late November? We set up some tables in the garage and grilled out some sausages. Then we settled down for our first meal of overindulgence this week.
