Henry's Christmas Program- June.

As soon as we got caught up with the blog, we fell behind again. On Friday, Decmeber 18, we all went to Henry's school for Henry's Christmas program.
The main attraction for mama was baby Christopher- the newest addition to our neighborhood. She got a cuddle while I leaned in closer to take a look.

All the classes took turns singing songs. Here's Henry's class the Red Birds. Of course Henry is the shortest.

Out neighbor John is the little guy in green. He did a good job singing.

We also want to take this post to talk a little about fashion in the South. You see a lot of the little jumpers like the green girl has on down here.

But who am I to talk with all my homemade necklaces?

John continued to have a good time dancing in his chair.

Our other neighbor, James (in the blue), impressed us by singing along with not only his class, but every song performed by the other classes. (Check out the pink outfit.)
Henry's class impressed everyone by singing "Silent Night" in German. We're not sure if Henry knows it because he refuses to ever perform anything on command.

(Again, check out some of those little girls' dresses. I wish we had a better view of the pink girl on the left- her dress was very cute and pleated everywhere.)
While the other kids sang and wore big hair bows, Henry did what he does best in public situations. He pulled up his shirt and put his finger in his belly button.

At the end of the program, all the kids sang "Jungle, jingle. jingle, Santa Claus is on his way" over and over until the big guy himself came in. Henry accepted a candy cane from him and came the closest he'll ever get to an actual shot of him on Santa's lap.

It also just occured to mama that I have no fear of strangers at all and would probably love to sit on Santa's lap, so we should have just taken me to get a picture. Maybe next year.
